ICoASHE (International Conference on Archives, Social Science, Humanities and Education) is an international conference initiated by PAPTI in collaboration with members of the Institution. As a forum for developing the field of archives in Indonesia, PAPTI took the initiative to organize this program. Inviting speakers, both experts, academics, practitioners and professionals, IcoAshe is expected to be a forum to increase insight and knowledge and scientific knowledge in the fields of archives, social sciences, humanities, and education.
Gadjah Mada University in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Higher Education Archives (PAPTI) will hold the 2024 International Conference on Archives, Social Science, Humanities and Education (ICoASHE) with the theme "Sustainable Archiving and Cultural Preservation on Global Approach".

Professor Sue McKemmish, PhD, is the Associate Dean Graduate Research for the Faculty of Information Technology. Professor McKemmish is also Chair of Archival Systems, Monash University and Director of the Monash University Centre for Organisational and Social Informatics. She is engaged in major research and standards initiatives relating to the use of metadata in records and archival systems, information resource discovery and smart information portals, Australian Indigenous archives, and the development of more inclusive archival educational programs that meet the needs of diverse communities. Sue McKemmish directs the postgraduate teaching programs in records and archives at Monash, has published extensively on recordkeeping in society, records continuum theory, recordkeeping metadata, and archival systems, and is a Laureate of the Australian Society of Archivists.

Jeurgens is a Dutch historian, archivist and professor of Archival Science. Jeurgens graduated in history in Leiden. After his studies, he worked at the Department of History in Leiden and obtained his PhD there in 1991 at De Haarlemmermeer. A study in planning and policy, 1836-1858. He obtained his Archivistics A diploma from the State Archives School in 1992. He then worked at the State Archives in North Brabant. In 2004 he was appointed part-time professor of Archival Science at Leiden University and inaugurated with A bridge between two worlds. He is also a scientific/specialist advisor at the National Archives. In 2017 he was appointed professor of Archival Science at the University of Amsterdam, succeeding Prof. Dr. Theo Thomassen, where he inaugurated on September 15, 2017 with The archive is dead, long live the archive!; he was already a lecturer there from 2012 to 2014 and had interviewed one of his predecessors, Prof. Dr. Eric Ketelaar, in 1994. He is also still associated with the National Archives as an advisor. Jeurgens was a member of the Science Committee of the Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies (NIOD) and a board member of the Royal Dutch Historical Society.
